The fuel performance of biodiesel is close to that of petroleum-based diesel and has unmatched performance.

(1) Good ignition performance. The cetane number is a measure of the quality of fuel in a compression-ignition engine. The biodiesel has a higher cetane number of more than 45 (45 for petrochemical diesel) and the ignition performance is superior to that of petrochemical diesel.

(2) The fuel is more adequate. The oxygen content of biodiesel is higher than that of petrochemical diesel, up to 11%. The amount of oxygen required in the combustion process is less than that of petrochemical diesel, and the combustion is more complete than petrodiesel.

(3) Wide applicability. In addition to being an alternative fuel for diesel engines such as buses and trucks, biodiesel can be used as an alternative fuel for non-road diesel engines such as marine transportation, water power equipment, geological mining equipment, and fuel power plants.

(4) Protection of power equipment. The bio-diesel has a slightly higher kinematic viscosity than diesel. It does not affect the atomization of the fuel, and it is easier to form an oil film on the inner wall of the cylinder, thereby improving the lubricity of the moving parts and reducing the wear of the parts.

(5) Good versatility. No need to change the diesel engine, it can be added directly, and there is no need to add special technical training for fueling equipment, storage equipment and personnel (usually other alternative fuels may need to modify the engine to use).

(6) Safe and reliable. Biodiesel has a higher flash point than petrodiesel, which is conducive to safe storage and use.

(7) Energy saving and consumption reduction. Biodiesel itself is a fuel, which can be used in combination with petrochemical diesel to reduce fuel consumption and improve power performance.

(8) Strong climate adaptability. Because biodiesel does not contain paraffin, it has good low-temperature fluidity and is suitable for a wide range of applications.

(9) There are many functions. Biodiesel can be used both as a fuel and as an additive to promote combustion and thus has a dual function.

(10) It has excellent environmental protection characteristics. Low sulfur content in biodiesel, resulting in low emissions of SO2 and sulphide, can be reduced by about 30% (70% reduction in catalysts); biodiesel contains no aromatic hydrocarbons that pollute the environment, thus producing exhaust gas pairs The human body is low.
